Pogie the day after I got her

Sad looking and really really skinny

Got her a leash as she's a little jumpy..

Her first shed..... ;D ;D ;D

Her second shed . . . 1.5 weeks later

Last week I thought maybe its time to do something about her dull and boring VIV....
This is what I started with

Thought a Fake Rock background would be nice, Did some research and started

And ended up with this

Think she likes it though. She ran around climbing and licking everything when I first put her in the new VIV

Whats this?

Well thats all for now.... Just measured her again (Was 28cm when I got her) NOW 38cm..... Hee Ha

Well it took some time (20 days to be exact) but Pogie finally made peace with her blankie.....He he

Yeah, it does look like she's thinking that.

But I cant beleive how big a difference the new background is making... not just asthetically too

Before she would bask for about 1-2 hours per day... Viv temps were approx 38 deg at basking spot.

NOW

She almost constantly basks... goes to the cool side for 1-2 hours and the basking spot gets warmer with the styrofoam (Guess its a better insulation / conductor) Gets to 39-40 deg

Today is OUR 2 Month anniversary . . . (Mine and Pogies) She is actually approx 7 Months now but I got her on 1 March 2010

Yeah, those 3 pics were all taken within 5 minutes, she wasnt angry... just basking and what ya call it . . .Thermoregulating.

But she flared out so nicely, had to take it. She has NEVER black bearded, wonder why, maybe shes just a happy camper LOL, she does like hissing though, when startled.

Her head is in shed now . . . poor baby, look terrible

It never stops....but it doesn slow down a whole lot as they get older.

UPDATE TIME

OK on 1 May she measured 15.5" and weighed in at 148 gramms
NOW shes 17" and weighs in at 200 gramms ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
