Buffalo's are good for babies, since they are small. However past 7 and 8 inches they will be too small....
Dubia Roaches are a great staple for younger dragons all the way to adulthood. You don't need to worry about throwing her off, start with small dubias and see how she reacts. Don't forget calcium powders, and nutrient supplements.
These are just suggestions to you, of course do what you're comfortable with. After researching the Buffalo worms though they are very very small, you will need to feed too much to give the right amount of nutrition for a 7-8inch dragon.
