    Well...I finally got the guts to tell my husband about me wanting a BD and wanting to make the viv out of a dresser. He is actually all for it. His question on lighting is....for the basking light, can an LED light be used? He can get LED bulbs from work for free and they last for 15 years...

    Big Sleep check list

    How long does the "big sleep" last? Sounds like I picked the wrong time of year to want to get a beardie. I think I will take the next month or so and work on building my viv and get my beardie in the spring. In the meantime, I will just soak up all the knowledge I can on this site!
