I would love to start a colony just to save some money. We plan on getting a male dragon when the time is right and it would be great to have one up and running. but unfortunately we don't have any place to put a colony right now. No space in the house unless they were in the living room which isn't an option for obvious reasons lol. Once Spyra is an adult I figure she will eat much less and maybe than we will start looking for a male

So a superworm just bit Spyra right near her eye! I don't think it actually got her eye it just looked like the area right below it. She kept her eye closed for about a minute after it happened :(
I inspected her very well and see no marks or any noticeable eye damage and she isn't acting hurt. But boy did it p*** me off! If she didn't proceed in biting it's head off I was ready to rip it's head off!
