Well Lia is a little crazy today after a huge cricket meal and a nice long bath. Every time she enjoys it more and more. She swam around and did a lot of head bobbing at her reflection. She had my son laughing like crazy. For the last hour she has been a little insane. She is running around head bobbing at her reflection jumping up and down on her basking stone. She is climbing using her ramp then jumping/climbing off of then back up on her stone. Stomping in her bowl. Now she is basking quietly but she has been a blast to watch.she also seems very dark in color today kind of grey...so wired how much her color changes with her mood. Wow we love our girl

Ali (Alley) ate a huge salad of collard greens with squash baby food this morning, 8-9 crickets this morning, watched Transformers: Prime, shed his head, eye ridges, portion around his eye, his beard, and his foot. Here's the closer of the evening: He ate another salad of collard greens and squash baby food, stuffed himself into a small itty bitty cave not big enough to fit him. He managed to get into that little cave by himself. Lots of racket from in his tank. :)LOL! Poor baby. He's been roughing it with his shed and wanting to stay around Mommy all day long! :)

My beardie, Spike, had a bath, which he didn't like and shed the rest of his skin. For the first time he ate some greens....I think! He is ready to go down for the night. So far so good!!

Your beardie sure is active!! She must be full grown. I hope my beardie is as active as yours. He is still a juvenile. Pat B/Columbia SC

My Sandy finally laid all her eggs, she was starting to get me really concerned. 18 in all.
So what do you do now with all these eggs that are going to hatch babies?? Keep us posted....I find this very interesting because I would never do it myself....:)

Spike had a boring day. I ran out of crickets so went to veggies and he liked the turnips....yuck....and he ate from my fingers....new for him. He is still skitterish when I put my hand in the tank....runs around like a crazy boy. Is this normal? He is a juvenile. I think tomorrow I will give him a bath....he likes those....:)

my fattie got crickets yesterday, he hadn't had crix 4 bout 4 months now. i had been feeding different worms 2 switch up the diet & figure now i'll feed him crix this month. might try roaches next month. not sure if ne1 else changes up their feeders every month instead of like every week or something...but i figure as long as i'm still adding a variety, it should be alright. think he missed chasing the crix lol. & i surely missed watchin him go after em! :p

Some Female BDs will lay infertile eggs periodically without ever being with a Male. My oldest, Dinah, lays at least once a year & is looking like she may be prepping to, once again soon. She generally lays 30+ eggs, 33 has been her top, once 83 eggs in 3 'Dud' clutches within a years time. The one, Sandy, that I was talking about, is 6 or 7 years old & this was the first time she has ever laid any.

so after i had Kyuubi one month i took some medical tape and cut it to how long he was from tail to tip and wrote the date, time and how big he was. the the peice of take was right around 5 and a half inces. today i was just wondering how much kyuubi had grown from that time. and he is at least a inch longer then the tape now!

i think im going to record on the tape every month his grows and other information, as of right now im shocked at how fast he is actually growing, you cant really tell unless you kow how big they were. to me he still looks the same as when i got him, but the tape does not lie.

Today i discovered why Willow has been lethargic and in the worst mood for a few days, she has a large greying area around her belly spikes curving around the base of her tail and consuming her back legs! its shed time ;)
I definitely believe beardies are ornery and cranky when they shed. Moody little buggers!! Just went through a shed and the 'tude' was full blown!! :)

@Pat; This is by far the worst mood she has ever been in to date :L she was literally batting food away when i offered it to her and giving me stink eye all day, when i tried to handle her she would push through my hands to get back in her viv :L angry dragon!

Ouch....I think I would leave the little 'she devil' alone for a few days. I have ready where a bath is good when beardies are shedding if she will let you pick her up....:)
