No. It's on a stand. I just put the uvb inside and the fixture says it's 10 inches from the basking area. Too close? Do you think a regular halogen bulb would give off more heat?

Idk I have not used them - try 10 it may be too close if you can raise it or lower the basking piece do that

He normally sits right in the middle of the hammock. I tried to go without the hammock but he was lost without it lol

Ok I am sorry the light on the other side caught my attention and I was thinking that was the basking side- I looked at pic again and saw the basking lights - so the 97 is good- watch his behavior and let me know how it goes

Ok. I ended up just putting a regular led 60watt bulb over there cause it was so dark. But yes, that's the cool side

Get a temp on the cool side during the day you want it around 80 or so --
