Yes it is - when you move him into the new tank make sure you have sanitized it before - F10 vet disinfectant - you want everything on par - what are you using for a uvb now--

Ok that is good but since the tank is so big I would look into getting a 36"- you don't want the same length- 1/2 the tank size would be good
