I'm working on building an enclosure for a soon to be addition to our family and looking for help with the substrate. I'm wanting to do a bio-active substrate. I'm not sure what to use to cover the soil though. Any thoughts or ideas?

I bought leaf litter for cover for my frogs and gecko enclosures. I would think it would be the same for beardies.

BioActive for bearded dragons just came up in the bio group on FB one thing they brought up is that if your bearded dragon has parasites, you are going to have to scrap the whole set up and start over. That would be a pain in the ass to put all that hard work into a set up only to have to re do it.
