There is a sealant especially made for fish tanks. Maybe you should use that. It's under Loctite brand.

Maybe a stupid question.... But what are you using the sealer for? And why?

Not stupid at all, I built a 4ftx2ftx2ft enclosure out of melamine wood. The silicone is to seal the cracks between where the sides meet and where the floor meets the sides so it keeps any moisture out of the wood. Typically with bearded dragons it's not really needed because they don't require humidity. But I've always used silicone on wood when building them. I just used a different kind this time and I shouldn't of because now I'm losing my mind
