    Cancer or adenovirus?

Thanks guys I was just feeling almost guilty, about everything- from wondering how long he may have been suffering without me knowing, to wondering if it was something I ever did wrong to cause him getting sick, to wondering if I shouldn't have put him down and sucked up the bills to keep him...

    Cancer or adenovirus?

Thank you, I appreciate it.. I just have a million unanswered qurstions, like what would cause a brain tumor? Or that virus? I hope it isn't something we did that caused this. And I can't stop thinking about it.

    Cancer or adenovirus?

Hey everyone this is my 3rd question about my 10 year old beardies health issues in the last few weeks. I had to put him down a few days ago. I took him to a reptile specialist and she said he more than likely had a brain tumor, some sort of cancer, and adenovirus. She said he was past the point...

Bearded dragon is flipping on his back

Hey guys, a week or 2 ago I posted about my 10 year old beardie always having his eyes closed and possible brumating. Well, now I think that is ruled out and he is unable to walk correctly and we found him flipped on his back twice the other day. He has been to the vet twice in 2 weeks. He had...

Bearded always has his eyes closed

I don't think there's any way he could have too much vitamin a.. after reading the causes. Thanks for sharing the article! I've been keeping a close eye on him and he slept the entire day today. Woke up once and looked around, and went back to sleep. He's under a little towel that he usually...

What would cause the vitamin a toxicity?

Bearded always has his eyes closed

I've always used the tube light as I know the coils can cause issues. His basking light is a reptisun 100 watt white light. Is that too bright? Is the lighting hurting him in some way? I'm just totally lost. Like I said he has lived a pretty perfect life up until the last few months slowly being...

Bearded always has his eyes closed

Thank you! It's very odd. It's kind of like he doesn't know where he is walking. He loves blueberries and we give them as a treat now and then and my sister had rolled one in of him but he kept missing when he tried to eat it. I wonder if it's his vision since everything else seemed normal. He...

Bearded always has his eyes closed

He appears healthy. He's a bright orange/yellow which is his normal color. He's chubby and hasn't lost weight.

Bearded always has his eyes closed

Here's what's happening in more detail since now that the 2 of us have discussed it i have more info. He started slowly losing his appetite about a month ago, and also shed around that time too. He's had his eyes closed for the last few weeks. The few times he has woken up (only for a few...

Bearded always has his eyes closed

Ok I have another question for you guys. My sister (who is home with our beardie during the day much more than I am) said that the last few weeks, any time he has woken up he has had trouble walking and was stumbling. And bumping into things. I was unaware of this as I haven't been home during...

Bearded always has his eyes closed

He's the cutest thing. Everyone loves him he's always so happy and cuddly. Do this is a huge relief since I was so concerned about him not being social at all. Thanks so much!!!

Bearded always has his eyes closed

Thanks so much. This has helped a lot. I can't honestly say in the 10.5 years this little guy has lived in my room 5 feet away from me, lol, I have ever seen him do this. I've definitely noticed in previous winters he has slept a lot during the day. But not to this extent.

Bearded always has his eyes closed

I have had him since he was tiny probably about 6 months old. His whole life almost. I've never had any health issues with him fortunately. I currently have a 100 watt basking bulb. What if maybe I get a 75? And make sure he sleeps on the other side of the tank? He has a nice soft blanket.
