    It's only been 4 days! I had a taller spot but the temp was getting up to 109, so I lowered it! Its around 99/100 now.

    So I just recently moved my beardie into a larger tank. Since I've done this he stays dark colored! Could it be stress? Is it the lighting? I've attached a picture of the larger tank. I still have to add things and all but I'm worried.

    We do give him small mealworms, sometimes, he eats them rather quickly.. Is he still too small for other worms?

I am one of those beardie Mom's who just can't get over the fact that I have to deal with Roaches; like my skin is crawling just typing about them(it's that bad)...     Advice on new Beardie tank..

    Now that I am thinking about it it's normally between 65-70, depending on the weather! It's been crazy here in Louisiana, but when it's chilly I have my heater on so that I'm sure might help a little. I will check into the CHE, it couldn't hurt!

    I will try it without the light tonight.. I was just nervous NOT using it, but I agree that this is bother hiim apparently because he wants as far from this thing as possible!
