BTW... I do not recommend using this as a straight substrate for your eggs. It dehydrates them and probably killed off more than a few of my eggs, but by the time I realized what was happening it was too late to move them and I had to try and keep it as moist as I could without drowning the eggs.

Whole head... eyes open and blinking and covered in egg goo You can see parts of its torso if you get up close, I think it's gonna emerge before its brothers and sisters even peek their little noses out.

She/he didn't do anything else until just now... and it's barely a shoulder to add to the view so I'm gonna make you wait til something more drastic happens. They take such long naps while they're hatching I'm glad I decided to take a short nap when I did. I woke up and shortly after got to see it wiggle by the time I grabbed the camera though it was done wiggling. So sad!

Can't decide if it's time for another nap or coffee... probably coffee. Dang. That means I have to wake my husband up. "Lets go get coffee honey so we can stay awake to see more of the dragon hatch!" He was about ready to kill me at 4-5am LOL
