Zoo Med Repti Basking Spot Lamp with UVA

Has anyone used the Zoo Med Repti Basking Spot Lamp with UVA? How long did it last?

I did but it was during the time I was having bulbs blow every two weeks because I wasn't using a surge protector. It seemed like a fairly decent bulb though. I've tried that, Exo Terra and National Geographic. My favorite was Nat Geo. It was the brightest and seemed to heat my 40gal breeder the best

There is literally no difference between that and a regular halogen light you get from the hardware store...except price. As a matter of fact, if you get an outdoor halogen flood light, that is a better light, usually at half the price.
