Hey all, don't suppose there's any chance that canned silkworms are ok to feed Pluto (11 months)? Was looking for some worms for a change for him but can only find mealworms (live) which I hear are not so good, and canned silkworms ? If anyone ( redinkaus ?) knows where in QLD I might find some yummy wrigglyworms for the fella let me know. He eats woodies and crix just fine so I probably shouldn't rock his dietary boat but thought it would be nice for a change .. any thoughts?

You are correct that mealworms are no good. They provide no nutritional value and their outershell is difficult for a dragon to break down.

The canned bugs are like feeding a jelly donut to your dragon. I'd stay away from them.

I'm not familiar with wrigglyworms or woodies. Can you elaborate or post a pic?
