Hi,
I have a 48 x 24 x 16 PVC panel reptile enclosure by zen habitats. However I’m not sure what kind of uvb or basking light I should get for my bearded dragon (I don’t want to put any lights inside the tank)
Thank you :)

What kind of screen is on the tank? A T 5 can sit on top if its a wide hole type - its pushing the distance tho- for a T 5 unobstructed is 12-15 inches directly above the basking decor - if its a fine mesh screen you will haft to unobstruct it to get the best effects of the rays - for a wide hole type of screen the distance would be need be 8-10 inches directly above the basking decor

I have the same screen on my Zen but it's 24" high- the only light in my tank is the uvb-- w/ the bars on the screen running in the middle makes it easy to hang the uvb inside- you can strap the uvb to the top then get your basking decor under it
Ok so I use a T 5 uvb on top of the screen correct?
