What she said ^^^^^ But If you are talking about the darkness, it's shedding you can see it down the tail and the legs. Give some good soaks and after about 5-10 minutes take a baby tooth brush and gently brush the area to help loosen the skin.

The darkness you are talking about would that be the green parts? I did soak him today and used a tooth brush. The tip of his tail doesn't look like it is going to make it. I think he has too much stuck shed for too long around it.

It just looks dark in the pictures. Do you have a picture of his tail? You could use something called Reptile Shedding aid to help loosen the shed. Also a little bit of coconut oil rubbed on may help. Just make sure you do it at night when the lights are going to go out because you don't want them to burn under the lights.

Yea show us a picture of his tail that is in question...good warm soaks, the shed aide, coconut oil at night.. I think with alittle extra attention all will turn out ok..
Izzy had the very tip of her tail pinched somehow before me maybe stuck under something at petco But it was like a 90 degree angle.. after about a month it fell off and all is fine.

If the tip of the tail was dead it would be black this isn't dead. Religiously rub it with coconut oil, mineral oil or shed ease. Scrub it with a tooth brush, do what you can to try to get it off, don't pull at it though.
