What color is he?

This is rex. We bought him at a chain pet store 8 mo. Ago. Hes 580 gms and not quite a yr old. We were told he is a red leatherback, but I'm wondering if hes citrus? What do you think? Also, is he a little large for his age? We have a red leatherback female that we were told if bred, they would produce silkies and leatherbacks? What colors would come out of them?

It sounds big but he looks like he's well proportioned. How long is he? My girl Dexter is 19 months and last time I weighed her she was about 490g and 17 3/4 long.

Looks like a citrus. Maybe one of the his parents were a red? But very beautiful dragon!

It looks like a sandfire (citrus with red or orange highlights). If you breed to a red leather you should throw alot of sandfire and some possible orange. If you are lucky your may get some red with yellow highlights (looks cool) but you will also throw 50/50 leather/silkie.
