UVA

I know we are suppose to have a UVB source, but my husband accidently broke the UVA bulb we have and I dont get paid until Friday.... Do Beardies need the UVA, what can I do in the mean time????

got a regular house bulb?
you might need to experiment with the wattage for the correct temp.........but it'll give you the bright white light and heat you need.

Is this for back up or can a house bulb be used in place of a UVB/heat source?

Most of us use regular house bulbs as our source of heat and white light. Our UVB (repti sun 10.0 or other) comes from a different source.
So once you establish the wattage of regular house bulb for adequate temps..........it's fine all the time.
