Tail rot or shedding?

Hi, I have a 4 month old beardy, he/she's always had a slightly different coloured tail but recently it looks "washed out and has a distinct line at the base of the body. I'm unsure if this is just shedding? Stress? Or tail rot? I'll include pictures and appreciate any help

Not to worry! Definitely shedding! Here's mine when I first got him and it took forever to actually start shedding
