I've got bee pollen, prebiotics, electrolytes, probiotics, and carotenoids plus the regular calcium and vitamins.

I've been doing a rotation of one of the extra supplements on his greens during the week.

I have a chart that I use so for example - on Monday he gets bee pollen on Tuesday he gets electrolytes and so on and so on thru Friday.

Should I not do that and just do a once a week slurry????

With all of those extra supplements his citrus colors have been coming out and yesterday he passed his follow up vet visit with a negative fecal and perfect exam.
His lungs sounded great, heart rate was perfect and the doctor even said his husbandry was perfect - which he has never said to a patient before.

I would keep doing what you are doing, it seems to be working.

I haven't been real good at being consist with mine. But I tend to do a different one each day in addition to the calcium or multivitamin. Example calcium with bee pollen then multivitamin with a probiotic or calendula powder, then calcium with dandelion powder.

It sounds like you got a good schedule going glad to hear he passed the vet visit!

Thank you PatsyB! I'm sure as I'm running out the door, school starts back Monday, I'll forget something. Lol

I'm glad to hear that I can just keep doing the dusting and not syringe slurry. I do know how to open the mouth as the vet taught me from the pinworms Panacur months ago but it's still not fun.

How is Dexter doing? How is Dolly, has she started eating her greens yet, or did you give in to her??

Dolly is being stubborn but I added some butternut squash to her salads this week and she's been nibbling on that, she seems to like anything orange. Dexter is still acting the same but I still see some swollen tissue in her mouth. I've started doing chlorhexidine treatments, diluting it and dabbing it on her mouth with a q-tip, hoping that will help some. I also found a product called serappatase (sp?) and it's supposed to help antibiotics work better so I ordered some. In the meantime though, I found out that silk worms naturally have it in their intestines, and by chance I just ordered a whole bunch of silkworms! So I am going to be giving her the worms about an hour before I give her the shot tomorrow and hope that with the chlorhexidine we can beat this.

Thank you PatsyB for the update. I think about both Dolly (with her diet) and Dexter (with her infection) every day.

It sounds like you are doing everything you can to help the girls. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Dolly and Dexter daily.

Give them cuddles and kisses from me!

Oh yea I remember seeing that in the very beginning of my research that silworms are excellent for sick dragons...I forgot about that fact on them..
