Hiya
Sorry ment substrate
for my first clutch i used sand but it seemed to cause so many problems with the hatchlings/babies eyes that im not to keen on using it for the 2nd clutch.
Is there anythin else i can use that holds the heat?

A lot of people use tile and they say it holds in heats well. I use non-adhesive shelf liner and I love it, but I'm not sure how much it holds in heat.

Is this non-adhesive liner the rubber type comes in a roll? If it is....won't it catch on the little claws on the dragons feet? I like the idea....simple and would look good.

This thread is over a year old but to answer your question, Non-adhesive shelf liner works quite well, just don't get the rubber kind with the holes. There are many solid vinyl patterns available. ;)
