Sulcata Tortoise

I'm thinking about getting a Sulcata... I love watching tortoise's. Are they too much more upkeep than a beardie? Does anyone know?

Last night I looked through a few of the how to's on the tortoise's and raising a sulcata from a young'n. A lot of experimental stuff. Kind of scaring me away from the site.
