I heard the Zen is lightweight. I don't know the weight limit for a zen is.
Your welcome
Some of them are sold out. Zen seems to be a good idea, but I don't know if the weight limit would be. I use a student desk that can tolerate 175 lbs of weight. And Alexa on Amazon said that some of the tanks I was looking at- wouldn't be supported because of the basking items and furniture in the tank.

Zen tanks are very light- the back and sides are made out of bamboo - I used a dresser I got for $40 at a used furniture store- had 4 drawers that 1was used for reptile supplies- worked great- the other stand now is a fish aquarium stand that I got from home depot- my tanks do / didn't weigh more than 175#

I was going to go through Amazon, but they're sold out there. I get 2-3 day shipping there and free shipping and delivery. I did find a Reptizoo with aluminum sides and tempered glass on all three sides instead of four. I'm thinking of lightweight tanks because the 55 has no lid on top and have been using metal mesh screens on top for the lights. This would probably be an alternative if I can't find the others. Plus, I do like the purple- but I read a review that the doors come off of the track.

I haven't seen a tank with aluminum sides before-- reptizoo is not a good quality bulb so I don't know about the tanks- the zen has stainless steel screens - the uvb will need to go into the tank but basking bulbs can go on top- I can help you with the uvb if you go that route- the tempered glass is going to make that tank heavy - the zens have plexiglass

I asked Reptizoo a series of questions about their enclosures. I really don't want to get something that'll ultimately be a mistake.. But I'm still open to Zen. I do know that both heat lamp and UVB have to be side by side. The outlet is on the left, near the floor. How would I mount the UVB inside?

As closest to the basking as possible - I have mine set up in the middle front with a basking bulb behind it top of screen - then the hot side of tank on fat left side- the middle of tank is around 90's or so - I can send pic- the uvb can be mounted with long zip ties found at home depot- you can get them heat resistant

I'll take a look. I may have to wait on a new enclosure for now.

Found this tank. It's not Tempered Glass and uses acrylic panels on three sides. I saw her get stressed out today with her reflection on the back of her 55 Gallon. This one's an 80 gallon.

Your better off going with a 120 gallon- did you look at dubiaroaches.com tanks?

I'm a member of Dubia roaches. I have seen them. But I don't have a proper stand for them I believe. I've seen other enclosures on Amazon. I'll check Dubia's.

An old dresser from a second hand furniture store works great - I bought one for $40 and used the drawers for the supplies- you can look for one that's like 48" long or so mine wasn't that long I had 2" on each end hanging over but it still worked

Won't approve me through Affirm. And I like the enclosure. I'll continue to search for an enclosure. Goodwill may have a dresser.
