Shedding question

Hello, I wanted to ask a question about my 5 month old dragon Moe, do dragons shed on their skull area? I have not seen moe do this ever and I see his head is a very pale color whitish gray . He stays close to his basking lamp and I wonder if this might a bad thing. In short , will he shed the skin on his head. Thanks. Doug p

Yes they do shed everything but not all at once sometimes in pieces here and there a toe here and there.. you may want to check your temps to see if they are where they should be...

Yep, they shed everywhere! During a bath you could very gently drip water on his head, that might get the shed starting to come off.

Thanks for the information . I have been giving Moe a few baths per week and gently wetting his head. I have to say, ,he has been really good with baths . Im eager to see this particular shed happen for him . I just made a new perch for him on top of the driftwoodhe climbs on . Now he can hang out flat and get good ,even heat from the lamp .Now he doesnt cling onto the back wall . Im really happy about it .

When I got home from work today ,I see that the skin on Moes head was finally peeling off .Just gave him a bath and let water run onto his head from my hand . Now hes back in his tank . That water should help him alot .
