Shedding issue or ?

Lately (past week or so) I have been worried about what looks like stuck shed.

It could be current shed or I have no idea; the entire tail went white at once; but the last half didn't shed.

The images may be difficult to see because he just got out of a soak; but there's a strange degrade between the tail.....

A little worried...please any thoughts would be appreciated..

These last two are for fun :) He turns golden after bath time....

Don't worry about this now that he is older they will shed in bits and pieces lol I don't know why it happens.. My year and a half Izzy shed 2 front toes (not the rest) her rear left upper thigh (not the rest of leg but under and over her vent and to the right bottom of her thigh..)

Thanks I'll keep an eye on him. I was worried because I don't want him to ever suffer from retained shed...squeezing and cutting off circulation :(

I completely agree with you on that! I would never want that to happen either.

Thank you for sharing the pictures. I'm new at this and the pictures help me to know what I'm looking for. Wally is in a full body shed now.

Their tales tend to change colors and get dark patches as they get older. I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep an eye on it.
