OK, so its me again . . . LOL

Does the no bigger than the space between the eyes rule apply to roaches also?

The reason I ask is cos Ive read it is a good way to get your beardie to put on some weight (Better than crickets anyway) But the only roaches we get here are HUMONGOUS, I mean really really big scary things. About 5cm long and 3 cm wide (thats about 1.9 inch x 1.1 inch) and the space between Pogies eyes is 0.86 inches (2.2 cm)

You use your own judgement to an extent. But with your roaches if the adults are too large breed them and feed off the juvies.

The space between the eyes "rule" is in place to keep people from impacting their dragon but If your husbandry is on point your dragon should not get impacted.
