Hello there, yesterday i was hiking in our local canyon and i found very good rock, with 2 levels on.

My question is it safe to use it in the terrarium ? i will boil and do what i need to do.

If i cant use it for the basking spot, i was thinking to use it on the cool side..

Any advice would be helpfull, because i really like the real rocks :)

Thanks

Just find out that boiling rocks is very dangerous, because they can explode.. :/

I use real rocks and sticks. boiling is better than baking for rocks. I use an anti-infective from Young Living oils called THIEVES - I soak the rocks then rinse them (well). Yes - they can explode when exposed to heat. you can use bleach, too. rinse well. I bake the wood. - watch it - it can catch on fire!
