Hi and welcome !
Actually that is a great Secondary heat source, for over night if you will, since it doesn't put out light. But for your main heat source, a nice bright white house hold bulb or flood light is what the dragon needs.

Heat emitters are good when the weather gets really cold too. I've had to use one during the day in the winter time.
