Hi all,
Just a quick introduction post. I just bought a smallish (about 8 inches long) bearded dragon yesterday. He is nominally considered a birthday present for my 7 year old daughter (but he is really my pet, but don't tell her that ). He joins the rest of the Adams' Family Zoo that consists of Homer the sheltie, Doxie the mini-dachsie mix, Orion and Jag the cats and Ryan and Jag the gerbil brothers. I have owned many other pets in the past including gerbils, hamsters, rats, ferrets and green anoles.
My daughter has named the new lizard "Lord Daisy" and I am excited that he is so easy to handle and hold. He is definitely a hands-on pet rather than a mere decoration.
We live in sunny Arizona.
Ta-ta!
