Hello!

We just got Mango set up in a 75 gallon tank. Has basking area set at 105 degrees F with thermometer probe controlling it and cool side around 80 degrees F. Have a 34" 5.0 T5 bulb for UV. Small water dish on cool side in corner. What night-time temp should it be? 70 degrees? and is 12 hours heat/UV cycle appropriate?

Thanks!!

Good set up - night time temps is good at 70- nothing below 65 at night- I recommend getting a digital probe hygrometer - the uvb is good but you want a 10.0 bulb-- the 5.0 is not strong enough for your 75 gallon-- it needs to be inside the tank w/ a distance of 12-15 inches - for the 5.0 bulb distance would be 6-8 inches both directly above the basking decor-- yes 12 hr photo period
