My beardie is losing his color

Hi all...my little baby beardie, when I purchased him last month, was very red in color. It seems his color is now changing to be more brown. Is this normal? He was sold to me as a red beardie, so wondering if his color will come back when he is older? Do I have to feed him insects that are gut loaded with that repashy color food? he is getting a mix of insects, and greens. He eats well, and I soak him 2 times a week. Other than his color, he seems to be just fine.

Could it be that he's getting ready to shed? His color will dull a lot during that process.

Color can change dramatically as the dragon ages. You jusy have too wait and see.

I agree with Dragon Lord. When I got Dexter she was dark brown and now almost 2 years later, she is light yellow/orange.

They do also dull in color when they are going to shed.
