Hi Lizzy please get rid of the red bulb--- they are no good-- they cause long term eye damage--- and disrupt their sleep- you need a bright white basking bulb and a long tube fixture UVB No coils please--- if you have questions or need more help please askLizzy is just under a year old (give or take) She was a rescue so I’m unsure of her exact age.

Sorry-- what are you using for your UVB? Depending on the bulb and screen will depend on proper placement--This is lizzys tank

Ok your basking decor should be 6-8 inches directly below- T 8's are not as strong for distance- what is a 50 watt UVB ?
