when using live plants in a VIV you have to becareful of 3 things:
1) The soil, can't have any plant food, fertalizer or additives (remeber if it is in the VIV the BD will probably want to taste it.)
2) The plant HAS to BD safe, there are plants/flowers out there that are now safe for dragons
3) you really have to watch your humidity, wet soil will definatley raise the humidity in the VIV.
