I'm building a crossfire enclosure and as of now I'm stuck on the lighting both heat and uv. It seems that every website I look up says something different. I know I need a heat lamp for a basking area. I plan on using an outdoor motion light with two heads one for heat and one with a night bulb. Then I will get a 36" florescent fixture and add a reptisun bulb. After this I am lost. Some website said I should use a normal bulb next to the uv light so it doesn't hurt there eyes. Is this true? If so can get two bulb florescent fixture and have one with the uv bulb and then just a regular bulb on the other side or get another outdoor fixture with a regular incandescent bulb.

Fixtures I plan on getting:

The fixtures will be mounted inside of the enclosure. Any advice on lighting? I just want to make sure I have everything set up for optimum health.

I just went through the build process and can perhaps help. Rather than the motion sensing light Lowes sells screw in adjustable lights that you can wire in yourself.

. Those are working well for me. I had done a 36 inch t8 fluorescent but didn't get the uv that he needed and just went with a 36 inch 5t grow light with a reflector that now hangs down closer. I can look up the Amazon link and its a bit more but better fit for use. (you would still need the T5 uv bulb as the one with it is not uvb.
