Is my cage okay before i get my brearded draong what do u think. pic

Hi i got this nice and big cage from a friend for free. I am get a bearded dragon soon and i want know what you guys think about this. the whole cage is light up when the lights are on and the basking i have a 100 wat becuase basking spot is so far from the light and it hits about 97. um i have done alot of research and then my dad told me about them i wanted to get one and i think i put to much stuff in the cage but let me know. How many bearded dragons you guys think i can fit in there.

Unfortunately, you can only have one dragon in a tank. They do not play well with others.

Your friend is playing russian roulette too I'm afraid. I'm sure Germ or Gill will vouch for my words and even show you what the results of housing multiple BD's together.

As far as your enclosure setup, this is what I would change:

Move your basking light more over your basking area, the temp gauge is good for the most part
Move your UVB over too and I would even find a way to suspend it from the inside as the screen will filter out most of the MUCH needed UVB for your BD (screens rob UVB for BD's)

Questions:

What are your basking temps after you move the lights where they need to be?
What is your temps at the cool side (no light side)?
What are your temps in the enclosure at night without the lights on (3-5 hours after the lights are off)?

Answer and do all these and we will be able to help you more.

I have 3 lights i have uvb and 2 light one heating on which is 100 wat and the baking spot it like 98 and cool side is like 75 so yea let me know

It looks like your UVB tube is too far from the basking spot. Your Beardie needs to get around 6-8 inches from it to be able to receive the correct amount of UVB rays to help it stay healthy. Also screens block something like 50% of the rays before they can even get into the tank.

Looks like you need to do some more research. It has taken me months of reading and learning to get to a point that I start to feel confident in some knowledge. Your temps are low as well. Juveniles need there basking spot up to 110

I will tonight if you want some umm i want my friend that has his 5 bearded dragon in his 300 gallon tank come over and he helped me out a lot and i will getting my bearded dragon on the 12 for only 30 or so i cant wake un til then but yes i will have some uploaded tonight if you would like some i have a uvb in the smaller lamp and in the bigger lamp i have the 100 wat basking spot lamp and in the hood the is a normal light just to light up the tank cause i know how much bearded dragons like to have the whole cage light up so um the basking spot hit about 95 and i think it look good so far and vote on my poll that i did please message when i upload more picture please thanks, seth

Your basking spot needs to be between 100-110 degrees Seth.

A guy I know was told he could have 2 in a cage and the person he got them from told him the same thing! Well to day when he was at work dragon #1 took off to toes of drag #2 they no longer live in the same cage.
