I currently have an approximately 6 month old male beardie named Chsrlie. I've been thinking about getting a female tank mate for him. I just don't know if my current tank would be big enough for the both of them. I don't know how ma y gallons my tank is, but the dimensions are 36x18x17

Actually – it's not a good idea to keep two of them together. You can have two but they should each have their own home. One will become dominant and the other will suffer. They are territorial. Sorry

They should each have their own home. If you want to mate them you can do that but then house separately. Like Canicke said one will become dominate over the other plus the male will wear the female down with the constant mating.

Yeah ^ it's usually the males that become dominant and the outcome is never pretty. Bitten of toes or worse. But getting two is a great idea. I have two as well. As long as they are housed separately :)
