Hey guys temps in the new viv are loookin kinda strange t me its 114-116 right under the basking lamp and around 90-95 on the cool side.... is this way too hot or?
The cool side is too hot. 115 is not too high a temp for basking but your cool side needs to be low 80s to lower the chances of dehydration. A way to facilitate this will be a lower wattage bulb with a slightly elevated basking site. This will keep the basking site nice and hot but will help the cool side lower.
