Great! That will really help us get a feel for how you have things arranged, what equipment you have, and how healthy your little beardie looks! Thanks for joining the community!

Oh, and don't use calci sand! Big no no, even though the pet shops like to sell it and pretend it's completely beardie "safe". It causes impaction in very young dragons and sometimes in the older ones too. Don't wish them to grow up too early, you'd miss all the fun stages in between!

welcome 2 the forum karishma!!!!! so glad u have come across this wonderful forum!!!! as stated above, mealworms are not a good choice, especially for young beardies. they have a hard exoskeleton & that makes em hard 2 digest..meaning they could cause impaction(not being able to pass through your beardie properly). plus they are very high in fat content. just be sure to ask plenty of questions and check out some posts on here for info!!! :)

Wowww guys all of this information is helping me out bunches already!! i love this place and yes i do not use sand i use reptile carpet it works awesome exept when the crickets get under it thats a pain lol and im glad u told me this. i give her small crickets and collard greens no more worms. and thats about it and yes i do dust the crickets with calcium and vitamin d3 every once in a while and overall i love my beardie oh so much!!!:)

^it doesn't hurt to dust every meal of crickets, they need all the d3 and calcium they can get. Glad your loving your beardie.

If you live in a area where they don't dust crops or the ground, look around for dandy lion flowers and leaves, beardies love these and I feed them to my dragon every day.

You can try feeding your beardie in a separate tote or enclosure if you don't want to mess with cricket hunting at the end of the day. Sometimes they will take to it, sometimes they won't.
