Ok so i have a 50 gal tank for Alex so its about 16-18 inches high. I had a log that was seven inches off of the bottom of the tank so Alex would get the proper heat out of the bulb i have. But it was a hassel to clean so i bought a corner ramp basking platform which is 4 inches high. Problem is, at that height, my lamp will not heat up his basking spot to more than 97 degrees. What lamp and bulb do you guys recommend i get? Price isnt an issue so any suggestions will do.

I use a 125 watt flood light on a dimmer. The dimmer makes it easy to adjust the temp.

If I'm using a 100w basking bulb, would a regular 100w flood light work similarly? Okay to use?
