Hey there :) I am new to dragons, but have been doing a ton of research for a good while. If I am not mistaken (and I don't think I am) I would give him a bit longer to acclimate to his surroundings before attempting a bath. I believe you can give him a little misting outside of his cage though, and mist his greens before you give them to him as well.

When you do go to give him a bath, the water should only be up to his armpits, and should be warm, not hot! Never leave your dragon unattended while in the bath, and I believe they only need a bath 3-4 times a month.

Hi: Jebb33 welcome to the forum. I just got mine as well and i would leave him alone for awhile to let him settle in and just mist him a little and spray his fresh veggies and fruit with a little water. When his time comes for a bath as Kalypso said to bath him. Most important is his heating work on that if you haven't already and let the baby settle in. Hope this helps you some-river

If you're regularly misting your dragon then 3 or 4 times a month is plenty. I give mine baths 1-2 times a week, and the water should be up to the armpits like Kalypso said, and the temp should be the same as your basking temp, so quite warm.

I'd give it a few weeks before getting into the bathing. Just make sure you don't keep them in there too long as the water will cool quite quickly!
