Anyone have suggestions on how to keep crickets alive longer? I buy 250 at a time from premium crickets. They are kept indoors in a 10 gallon tank. The tank is wrapped on the outside with a black tank back ground and always have carrots in the tank for food and hydration. It just seems like there is a lot of dead loss

Crickets are hard to keep - I recommend you switch to dubia roaches use your 10 gallon they are easier to keep and better nutrition and they last longer

Right! I’ve seen them for around $1 each. Do they breed easily?

I ve got dubias all together and mine breed all the time so I constantly have roaches- didn't try to start a colony either
