My girl is roughly 6 years old (a rescue), she is a pretty large girl and always is happy. Rarely will we see her beard turn black. She has been has been defecating, and eating well. Today, when I came home from work her beard is black, puffed out, but the rest of her body is nice and bright. There was undigested food in her cage, I think it may have been regurgitation, but I can not be sure since there was some urate near by. Thinking back she may have been uncomfortable during her last 1 or 2 defecations, but again not sure since it was semi-normal behavior for her. Now she has her back arched, like she is uncomfortable.

We have done a long bath, gentle massage of her abdomen, and a couple drops of Olive oil.
Tomorrow I will be bringing her to work (I am a vet tech), to get a x-ray of her to check for Impaction, but I am stressing out tonight. If she is not better tomorrow morning, I will be getting her to an exotic specialist vet after I get the x-rays done at work.

Any ideas if this could be impaction? Or if there could be something else going on?

My beardie has always been a finicky eater. She is now 2 1/2 yrs old. Rarely does she go to the bathroom on her own. I always have to put her in the shower with me or give her a bath and make her move around. I have tried Gerber baby prunes, she loved them btw. She now only eats about 10-20 crickets a week (she licks her lips when she is hungry, that's when I feed em to her.) She has her greens every day. I try to sneak other stuff in her greens to expand her pallet. She loves wax worms, horn worms, after I move I am going to try Dubia's. I got her direct from a local breeder. When she's in the mood, she loves to run around my place like a puppy. I had taken her to the vet a while back. He said she's healthy and keep doing what I'm doing. Sometimes she strains to get it out. Urate always present and stool seems normal. Still concerns me tho. Any suggestions?
