what should i do to help him shed?! & how long does shedding usually take?

Several days to complete a shed... give him daily bathes, that helps out !

should i give him more than 1 bath a day? or is there some stuff i can buy to help him shed?

Once a day is fine... you can use some 100% aloe to help loosen the old skin... Though I would use that close to lights out, and make sure it still isn't glistening when lights come on the next day, to prevent sunburns.
