Hi guys, my beardie has started to buff out his beard these last two days. He hasn't done this before. He is a lone beardie. I've not changed his diet, temps, I've changed nothing. He's also 10 months old approx. Could he just be exploring his beard? I'm getting a little concerned. He's not changed in terms of temperament and seems as healthy as ever

I've heard that they start to reach sexual maturity around this age, so it's quite possible he's just figuring things out.

Oh no. My poor boy. Should I get him a friend?
That would be cruel?

They are solitary animals, they don't really make friends.

How about if I take him to the pet shop for breeding? When I got him the shop asked for that to happen. Do they get sexually frustrated like humans?

I don't know about that. I'm just learning about all this stuff myself.
