It has always been suggested to let your beardie get used to his new place before handling him....about a week to 10 days. He is a pretty little thing. I would talk to him and maybe pet him but not pick him up. They are pretty hearty little critters and they are all different. Good luck....:D

I am so excited for you! Glad you decided to give it another shot. Just remember like Pat said, it's recommended to let them acclimate before handling them too much ;). Course, there's many maintenance excuses you can use... I have to give him a bath, clean his cage, or... LOL.
