The dog would stress him out but lets go over the lighting in the tank dragons are not normally aggressive and to hot of tanks and UVB can cause aggressiveness - first what are the basking temps and how are you taking them NO stick ons they are inaccurate - digital probe thermometer please placed on the spot where he sits for basking 10 minutes --- brand and bulb of UVB NO coils they are NO good - lets start there

U cannot block his sight!! They cannot be caged up like in a box or like they are in prison they will go crazy and feel like they are being tortured and be very angry and aggressive. He must have at least the front window/glass of their enclosure to look out of or two sides to look out of. Also he’s still young he needs love and attention oit the tv on and let him watch tv and he needs proteins 4-5 times a day in 10 minute increments if he’s under 4mnths old. After that it’s 3proteun feedings per day and 2 per day after 7mnths of age and once per fat at a year old. Please please please uncover one side of his enclosure so he can see out of it ASAP. Put the dogs on the other side of the house or get the dogs to stop barking or figure out a solution. Here’s a photo of mine. He sees from the back and fromy of his enclosure the left and right side are covered.

Attention is the right way to go but not too much since hes still young even 3 times a week 10-20 mins at a time will really help if he tries to bite find gloves for those frist few encounters but get rid of them when he stops

I don't have whole thing blocked i have a cling on the back and one side. I have one digital thermometer which says 90 most days. This is set up. And as far as my dogs go they eat on floor next to his home and my house isn't big enough for them to be elsewhere.

Hi ok a few things incorrect here. The temp needs to be 95-98 for a Beardie over 7mnths old. Also u need the zoomed clear bulb for heat and the Reptisun 10.0 T5 for UVB; that’s the best and proper UVB & all UVB’s need replacing every 6Mnths religiously. Please order the Reptisun 10.0 T5 asap the length I order should cover 70 percent of the tank and can he fit under that hideaway? Also the uvb needs to be 10inches minimum or more away. Please get the temp up ASAP also get an infrared gun to shine on top of his bashing platform; u shine it an inch away from the spot to get temperature accuracy. Rite now; 90 is way too low. Here’s a pic of the long UVB that u need. Also get a lower feeding dish and never ever do pelleted or bottled food it’s horrible for their tummy’s. Feed crickets and Dubias and some super and hornworms for protein and for greens/veggies do: mustard greens, yellow squash, snap peas, green beans, collard greens, dandelions & endives, those are the best everyday ones.

Measure his length from his head to the end of his tail and then Google and that will give you a rough age or ask whomever u rescued him from. Also very Impt to do a reptile vet check up appt to see roughly his age, sex & check his health also for a fecal sample to see if he has any parasites in his poop.

The stick on thermometer is not accurate at all. Please get a digital thermometer ($10) and a digital hygrometer ($10) those are the most accurate and an infrared gun from Home Depot or a hardware store. U shine the gun an inch away from the basking spots to give u an accurate temp. Temp for an adult should be 95-100. They love it around 98. Also the temp fluctuates depending on how hot your home is and what time of day it is and how hot it is outside. What type of dome holder Do u have for the heat bulb. I use the 8.5 dome which is ceramic and spreads the heat all around his general basking area it’s better than the 3.5. That may help a lot so consider getting one. Here are some pics of the dome holder & the gauges.
