Advice on tail injury

Hello,

Sorry I had forgotten to check back in! The tail is healing up. How is her shed going, did it come off
normally on the tail area?
How is her appetite doing? I hope she is doing better!

Good morning Tracie, I hope you're well..

Her tail appears to be healing quite well. We're leaving nature too it now, with no bandaging etc. We're still cleaning it and gently trying to remove some of the hardened skin.

She's just shed. She managed it well. It was a bit tough around her tail, I'm hoping next shed is better.

That is great news, her tail is looking better. I bet the shed was pretty rough, but, it looks like letting it get a little dry is helping it to heal up. They do tend to heal slowly but this is actually pretty amazing to see it heal up like this!
