HI, everyone! I just rescued a beardie with MBD. I’m using aspen now, but I don’t like it. I don’t want to use tile or newspaper or paper towels. He can’t lift his cloaca off the ground, so NO SAND! Would alfalfa pellets, Sani-chips, or large river rocks work, or which would be best? Thanks!
I’d say do what you think is best. Take ITV off for a little bit. If he calms down, the light was stressing him. What is your room temperature? If it is over 70 degrees Fahrenheit he will be fine for a few days. Just make sure your light is on so he can see. Hope that helped.
