Sorry I don't have a pic on me, not at home atm, but I just put mine on a large dresser. You could maybe find one at a used store or Craigslist or whatever you have there (in Canada its kijiji lol)
Was pretty short. He was in a semi brumation state for a few weeks, then slept for 2 weeks straight. I got him up a week ago too for a bath and a weight but he went right back to sleep that time.
And he seemed to be doing well when he did come out today. He ate, basked for a few hours, alert. I took him out for a bit and he played. Just went back to bed right after his bath.
He's been in full fledged brumation (sleeping 100% of the time) and just woke up. He weighs the same as when he went to sleep. I accidentally woke him when I was trying to get a weight.
Hmm I actually thought it would be better on top, since I have lots of tall things for him to climb on, so he can get within 12" of it. It is a t5 (and that's the recommended minimum)

I don't think the spot I'm seeing is the mark from the breeder. It could even have been a patch where he was about to shed, and it just reflected a different colour in the camera. It is good that you disinfected the tank though *just in case*.

I just saw this post now and was going to ask you about the spot on his back down by his tail. From the pics it looks yellow and was going to say it sorta looks like yellow fungus..
If that was the case, honestly there probably wasn't much you could've done to help...
