He’s starting to look really mature, have you looked at the vent lately? Or “candle” his tail, i ask

Cause his tails looking pretty thick at the base , (possibly meaning boy)

Yes I did and I’m pretty sure he’s a boy, I will post pics after the weekend as I won’t be around.

Also I’m unsure about his growth rate, he’s already 16 inches and that was last week, should I be worried he’s getting so big so quick?

They tend to get kinda “lanky” around his age, look a little weird, and then really fill out, id keep feeding him as much as he’ll take, once my dragon got big enough I started taking her out for longer periods so she could gain some muscle, I notice alot of peoples beardies are kinda lazy and just sit there, id give spike as much stimulation outside of the tank as possible, are you allowing the kids regular handling yet? As long as they dont drop him or squish him they cant hurt him , hes out of his baby stage and can take a little rougher handling now.

Yo, I am going to up the activities outside the viv, the kids stroke him atm but that’s it, I’m too nervous they are gona hurt him.
